Benjamin Donald Martin, age 41, passed away at his home in Fort Collins, Colorado on Thursday, December 21st, 2017. Benji was born in 1976 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He was a 1995 graduate from Rocky Mountain High School and was a student at Colorado State University. Benji did not have to “work” for a living, he lived his passion by financing and selling motorcycles. His recent employer is the renowned Thunder Mountain Harley Davidson. Benji created endless memories. He enjoyed everything to do with sports and the outdoors. His vivacious friends and he would spend monumental summers on their pontoon “Moby Dick” and voyage the mountains on their motorcycles. He had one of the fastest jet skis on Boyd Lake. There has been an overwhelming response of loss with his more than caring nature and ability to make others laugh. He would never shy away from kissing you on the forehead or giving you the biggest hug that you could handle. Benji is survived by his mother, Sandra Martin; sister, Angela Weaver (Michael); niece, Elexis Weaver; aunt, Jo Redenius (Dave, cousin Mathew and family); uncle, Larry Dybvad (Darla, cousins Scott and Kim and families); uncle, Ronald Martin (Lynn, cousins Daniel and Ryan and families); aunt, Nancy Hengested (Gary, cousins Randy and Sonya and families); and immeasurable caring and astonishing friends. A Celebration of Life will take place at 5:00 pm, Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Thunder Mountain Harley Davidson.
