Cynthia "Cindy" Keith Tennant-Dean

Cynthia (Cindy) Keith Tennant-Dean passed away on March 29, 2017. She was born in 1944 in Rochester, NY to Dudley and Mary Tennant. Cindy grew up in Webster, NY., moving to Fort Collins in 1974. In 1980 she married Daniel Dean who survives her. She worked as a medical social worker at McKee Medical Center for 19 years, retiring in 2012. After her retirement, she volunteered at Stepping Stones Adult Day Program in Loveland. She enjoyed bicycling, swimming, trail rides, traveling, eating out, watching the birds from her deck and spending time with friends and family, especially her two grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jim. In addition to her husband, Dan, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Terry Uhrich of Casper, Wy; grandsons Adam (Lexi) and Tyler Uhrich; two great-grandsons, Landon and Wyatt Uhrich; and numerous close friends. Cindy helped so many people in her work and her personal life. Her sense of humor and caring and feisty spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pathways Hospice of Fort Collins. A celebration of Cindy’s life will be held at the LaQuinta Inn, 1450 Cascade Ave., Loveland, Saturday, April 22nd. Family and friends are invited to drop in anytime between 2 and 4 p.m.
