Jessica Ann Zoss died peacefully in her sleep at her home in Juneau, Alaska on Friday, December 8th. She was 40 years old. Jessica was born to Dennis K. Zoss and Cynthia R. Zoss on September 3,1977 at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho. She spent her childhood in the states of Idaho, Colorado, Iowa, Washington, and Alaska. She attended public schools in Idaho, Colorado, and Iowa, and was home schooled by her mother in Juneau, Alaska. As a child, Jessica blessed us with her infinite play, enthusiasm, and love. Jessica confidently loved God, her family, and the beauty of nature and the outdoors where she felt surrounded by God's presence. She was blessed to spend time in Kenya and traveled to Rome to visit her brother, Jason, who was studying abroad at the time. The areas of Whidbey Island, Washington and Juneau, Alaska, she would tell you quickly, held her heart. In recent years, Jessica lived in Juneau and elatedly became engaged in October. Jessica Ann Zoss is survived by her fiancé, Johnny Perrin; her mother, Cynthia Zoss; her father, Dennis Zoss and his wife Cathleen; her brother, Jason and his wife Katherine; her sister, Sarah and nephews Jonas and Joshua. She also leaves behind two stepsisters, Faith Brandt and Alexandra Vialpando; a niece, Addy Brandt; grandmothers, Kate Zoss and Joan Michels; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved her. Dual ceremonies to be held in Juneau, Alaska and Coupeville, Washington. Jessica will be forever missed and loved. With her quick smiles, unending optimism, and pure heart, Jessica engaged the souls of those who knew her. Jessica's spirit will live in us all and remain a source of brightness in our memories, as she was in life.
