Jim Baughman

James "Jim" Baughman, 87, passed away in Fort Collins on September 24, 2021. Jim was born to Harry and Olive Harrison Baughman in Pennsylvania on March 3, 1934. He was the oldest with two sisters and one brother. Jim joined the Army after high school and did two tours in Vietnam, then one in Korea. Jim was very proud of his service and retired as a captain. He then served as a lieutenant colonel in the reserves. Jim took his family all over the world as a field administrator. He was a great outdoorsman, hunter, and father. Jim was incredibly supportive of his kids and their activities growing up – doing everything he could to be at sports and events.
Jim is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ada Baughman, of Fort Collins, CO, daughter Michele Baughman of Fort Collins, CO, daughter Christina (Dean) Brick of Pennsylvania, Deborah (Vince) Line of Parker, CO, daughter Nicole (Brian) Meehleib of Pennsylvania, 14 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and one brother.
