Paul Earl Carstensen, 58, of Loveland, Colorado, died on February 3, 2022. Paul was born in Port Clinton and raised in Bowling Green, Ohio. He relocated to Colorado over 30 years ago and found his home. Later in life, Paul returned to school for paralegal studies. He worked as a paralegal for ACE Reporting, as well as teaching at MasterDrive, where he taught young people how to drive safely. On May 26, 2016, Paul married Julia Grizzard. Paul was a craftsman and especially liked making knives, gun stocks and grips. He participated in Civil War reenactment activities. He was also a member of Clearwater Church in Fort Collins. Paul is survived by his wife, Julia Grizzard Carstensen; mother, Sandy Carstensen; siblings, John (Christine) Carstensen, Jennifer (Edmund) Engelbrecht, and Laura (Steven) Teal; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Paul’s visitation and viewing will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by the memorial service at 12:00 pm on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Clearwater Church in Fort Collins.
