Scott Rogers
January 15, 2018
E. Scott Rogers, 61, of Fort Collins, died at home on January 15 with loved ones by his side. Scott was raised in Phoenix, AZ. As a young man, he moved to California for several years, then to Colorado in 1994. He found his home in Fort Collins, where he spent the last 18 years. Scott accepted Christ as his personal Savior and was baptized and became a member of Calvary Baptist Temple on West Laporte Avenue. He loved Fort Collins and all that Colorado had to offer in outdoor activities. He was an exceptional gunsmith with a vast knowledge of almost everything guns. He had a most unique sense of humor and was compassionate and generous to everyone. Scott loved everyone he met and could talk to a stranger for hours and as though he had known them all his life. He always said, “Living to make people laugh is one of my greatest joys.” Scott is survived by his 25-year life companion, Kathleen and his brother and sisters. Scott never backed down from a challenge and fought hard over the past 5 years. He was loved by so many people and his smile and laughter will be remembered by all.
