Sheridan Leigh Potter
February 28, 2018
Sheridan Leigh Potter, 36, passed away Feb. 28 in Fort Collins, Colo. She was born Jan. 11, 1982. She was a sister, a daughter, a friend and a lover of all creatures great, big and small; but her heart was always with the elephants and Africa. Sheridan was a graduate of Central High School in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She was a scholastic enthusiast graduating Magna Cum Laude from Colorado State University, an extremely talented artist, a member of both 4-H and FFA; and had a drive for the practice of mixed martial arts. Her life was a beautiful mess, and she wanted nothing more than for there to be more beauty and less mess. She is survived by her mom, Cathy Potter; dad, Bruce Potter (wife, Mary); sister, Megan Harvey (husband, Joseph Harvey); and brother, DK Potter (and family). She will be missed but never forgotten. Sheridan, you are forever in our hearts. May you rest in peace. Celebration of life will be at 4 p.m. Thursday March 22 at Heart of the Rockies Christian Church, 6501 Brittany St, Fort Collins. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the scholarship fund that has been set up at CSU in Sheridan’s name. For more information, please contact Katie Propst-Graham (scholarship founder) at [email protected] or Megan Potter-Harvey (sister) at [email protected]
