Albert Edward Kraft

Albert Edward Kraft, the son of Gottfred and Lydia Kraft, was born June 22, 1927 in Windsor, Colorado passed away on July 9, 2013 in Fort Collins.
Survived by his wife, Lucille (Roth) Kraft, Fort Collins, CO; two daughters, Karen (Kraft) and Bob Habel, Fort Collins, CO; Shelley (Kraft) and David Kooser, Colorado Springs, CO and one son, Robert and Ronelda Kraft, Fort Collins, CO. He is also is survived by eight grandchildren, Zach and Michael Habel; Jennifer, Jeff and Jamie Kooser; Brian and Jason Kraft and Heidi (Kraft) Anderson and nine great-grandchildren.
Albert was a life-long farmer and cattle feeder in the Fort Collins and Windsor area. He was a dedicated father and a hard-worker who always had one of the best beet and corn crops in the area. He received the honor of Rotarian Farmer of the Year and for many years the High Ten Sugar Beet Award. He served on the Production Credit Association Board, Soil Conservation Board and belonged to the Colorado Cattle Feeders Association. Albert and Lucille enjoyed Polka dances and he especially liked listening to Polka Time on the radio. He served many years as a devoted member of the Timberline Church Family.
Albert and Lucille were married August 22, 1948 and were going to celebrate their 65th Wedding Anniversary in August.
The family would like to thank Caring Senior Services, Fort Collins, CO and Seven Lakes Memory Care Center, Loveland, CO and the staff at Poudre Valley Hospital for their wonderful care.

A celebration of Albert's life memorial service will be held Saturday, July 13, 2013, 10:30 a.m. at Timberline Church, 2908 S. Timberline Road, Fort Collins, CO.
