Alta Jean Mccafferty

Alta was born September 27, 1927 in Creston, Iowa. She and her husband, Bob McCafferty went to school together and later married. They moved to Fort Collins for an adventure 63 years ago. Alta was involved in the community, was an active member of the Methodist Church and loved being a Mother to three girls. She also worked at Great Western Sugar Factory and Colorado State University Book Store.
She will be greatly missed by her children, Janet Kask (John), Vicki Ryan (Rick) and Carol Maul (deceased). Her grandchildren Tayor and Aubrey Maul and Ben Kask will have great memories of their Grandmother. A summer familiy memorial celebration will be held.
