Amy Rose Brobst

Amy Rose Brobst, a long-time resident of Fort Collins, Colo. and most recently of Omaha, Neb., died late Saturday, April 27, in the crash of a small plane near Omaha.

Amy, 23, was a December 2012 graduate of Colorado State University where she majored in landscape architecture.

She is survived by her parents, Doug and Judy (Brown) Brobst of Fort Collins, and a brother Austin in Albuquerque, N.M. Born Sept. 7, 1989 in Lexington, S. C., she moved in 1998 to Fort Collins with her family where she was a 2007 graduate of Rocky Mountain High School.

Amy recently returned to Omaha as a project manager for Lanoha Nurseries where she had been previously employed.

A Celebration of Amy's Life will be held Saturday, May 11, at 12:00 p.m. in the South Auditorium of Timberline Church, 2908 South Timberline Road in Fort Collins. A reception will follow.

Survivors also include an aunt, Jennifer (Robert) Hollister, Steilacoom, Wash., and uncles Jack (Barbara) Brown, Williamsburg, Va.; Bill (Linda) Brobst, Germantown, Md. and Jim (Jennifer) Brobst, Columbus, Ohio. And cousins Suzanne (Brown) Zonner, Westerville, Ohio; Tom Brown, Hilliard, Ohio; Annie Brobst, Waltham, Mass.; and Levi Brobst, Columbus, Ohio.
