Amy Isnard

Amy Lynn (Swick) Isnard, 52, passed away on June 5, 2021, from colon cancer. Amy spent her last few days with her children while in the care of Pathways in Loveland, Colorado. Amy spent a majority of her adult life in Greeley, CO.

Amy was born September 30th, 1968 in Newton, Kansas to Sandra Marlene (Flegler) Swick and Geral Rolan Swick.

Amy graduated a semester early from Newton High in Kansas, class of 1987. She then went on to take classes at Fort Hays University and eventually Brown Mackie in Salina, Kansas. On May 19th, 1990 Amy married Jefferey Alan Isnard in Salina, Kansas. They then went on to have two children Levi and Chloe.

Amy held multiple jobs throughout her young life. One of her most valued jobs was Family Physicians in Greeley where she worked as an insurance advisor for over 10 years. She built amazing friendships throughout her years there with her colleagues and took pride in her work. For the past four years she has been Operations Manager for a couple in home health care facilities. Amy always had a giving heart which made her a respected and beloved employee.

Amy was a dedicated mother first and foremost. Her two children were her pride and joy; she cherished every moment with them. She was a very supportive mother, and she strove to be one! She loved watching Levi play hockey and football growing up, and never missed a game. Whether it was taking him to football camps or endless club hockey practices, Amy enjoyed supporting her son in every way. Amy was also a devoted cheer mom to Chloe when she was in high school. She hosted multiple team dinners, made bows for the girls, and was always there when anybody needed her. She never stopped being a mom, even in adulthood, she was always involved in her children's lives.

Amy was a true Kansas State Football fan. She never missed a Saturday game if she could help it. She was also a Rockies Baseball fan but grew up a Royals fan. She enjoyed going to live games like her father used to take her to as a little girl.

She was often referred to as a "sun-seeker." She adored everything about warm weather. She frequently would say how she loved the way the sun felt on her skin. You could most often find her by the pool or on the golf course. She always had the beach in her soul, and it was evident in every aspect of her life.

When Amy was at home, her kitchen was her favorite spot. She loved to cook and bake, especially for others. Amy was a master chef to say the least. She never let anyone leave without a home cooked meal. Whether she was following an old family recipe or creating a new one, you could always be excited about what she was whipping up.

Amy was always very crafty. She was an amazing artist and loved to paint. In the early 2000's she even ventured to open a "paint your own pottery studio" which she and Jeff ran for five years. She also knew how to sew and was quite good at it. Amy made all her kids Halloween costumes growing up. She could tackle any DIY project you threw at her and was up for anything that challenged herself.

Amy also loved to shop and was always on trend. She enjoyed mountain drives to Estes with her family on the weekends. She loved listening to music, she could not live without it. She was a great dancer and a free spirit. She could light up any room she walked into.

Amy is survived by her two children, Levi Isnard and Chloe Isnard; grandchild, Lilly Roth; two sisters, Beth (Jack) Hamilton and Darla (Jason) Hassler; nephew, William Hamilton; nieces, Olivia Hamilton, Ruby Hassler, Maisy Hassler; her Aunt Judy and Uncle Don Marghiem and cousins, Liesha Kelly and Dirk Marghiem.

Amy was preceded in death by her parents Sandra Marlene Swick and Geral Rolan Swick; husband Jeffrey Alan Isnard and grandparents Ann and Albert Flegler, and Irene and Loren
Swick.

A Celebration of Life for Amy will be held on June 27, 2021, on The Island at Pelican Lakes Golf and Country Club in Windsor, CO. Family and friends are welcome to join from 11am-1pm to honor her memory. 445 Baja Drive, Windsor, CO.
