Andrew Theodore "Andy" Bowsher

Aug 6, 1974 — Jan 6, 2026

Andrew Theodore "Andy" Bowsher, 51, of Fort Collins, Colorado, passed away on January 6, 2026, in Fort Collins. His passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Born on August 6, 1974, in Torrington, Wyoming, Andy was the beloved son of James E. and Vicki M. Bowsher. He was raised in Fort Laramie, Wyoming, alongside his two sisters, Jacqueline and Amanda. From a young age, Andy displayed a sharp intellect and a compassionate spirit that would go on to define his life.

He graduated from Lingle-Fort Laramie High School in 1992 and pursued higher education with determination and purpose. Andy attended Colorado State University (CSU), where he earned his degree in engineering. His professional journey led him to Broadcom, where he was a respected engineer and valued colleague. Known for his precision and dedication, Andy left an indelible mark on those he worked with—his influence reaching far beyond the office walls.

On August 15, 1998, Andy married the love of his life, Rebecca Lyn Voas, in Rawlins, Wyoming. Their union was one of deep devotion and shared purpose. Together, they built a life rooted in faith and love in Fort Collins. Their family grew to include five children: Elijah (Bailey) of Longmont; Isaiah (Havah) of Fort Collins; Josiah (Tayler) of Ignacio; Zebadiah; and Grace, both of Fort Collins. Andy's role as a father was one he cherished above all else—his children were his pride and joy. In recent years, he embraced the role of grandfather with open arms, delighting in time spent with his grandson Wyatt.

Andy's life was a reflection of his profound spiritual faith. He lived each day guided by his beliefs, offering unwavering support to those around him. To his siblings Jacqueline (Dean) Rahmig and Amanda (Danny) Punches, bonus siblings, Kadi McMillian and Mike (Polly) Baxter, and stepsiblings Chris (Sami) Coziahr and Scott (Carolyn) Coziahr, he was a steadfast anchor; to Becky and their children, he was their rock—their everything.

Those who knew Andy will remember his remarkable blend of intelligence, humor, and humility. He possessed a rare combination of wisdom and wit—able to craft legendary spreadsheets one moment and quote movies with perfect comedic timing the next. Whether coaching basketball or manning the grill at family gatherings as the resident BBQer, Andy brought people together through service and laughter.
His protective nature and servant's heart made him a pillar within his family and community. He mentored not only through words but through action—leading by example with quiet strength and unwavering integrity.

Andy is also remembered by his parents, James (Connie) Bowsher of Fort Laramie and Vicki Bowsher of Fort Collins; his in-laws, Raliegh (Rebecca) Voas, and bonus parent Frank Baxter; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and coworkers whose lives were touched by his presence.

He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Cindy Voas, bonus mom, Linda Baxter, and nephew Jaxen Rahmig.

Andy's legacy is one of love lived out loud—in every spreadsheet perfected, every joke shared at just the right moment, every game coached with care, every meal served with joy. His memory will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him.
