Andrew D. Van Der Hoop

Andrew "Drew" Daniel van der Hoop was born on Saturday, August 16, 1997, to Tracy Meisinger and Douglas van der Hoop in Boulder Colorado. Drew passed on January 30, 2025 surrounded by family. Drew attended schools in Loveland, playing saxophone in the jazz band and marching band. Drew was an artist, an electrician, a logical philosopher. Drew is survived by partner Dante Palombo, parents, step-father Gregg Meisinger, sibling Rebecca van der Hoop, paternal uncle, cousins, and grandparents, as well as feline companion, Zuil. Drew's humor will be missed by all.

Drew's memorial service will be March 1, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Strauss Cabin Farmhouse in the lower-level setting, not the sanctuary. A luncheon will follow at 12-12:30 p.m. Then, at 2:00 p.m., we will lead anyone who is inclined to Andrew's final resting place. Please bring a small rock to leave at the gravesite so that Drew knows you visited. RSVP is greatly appreciated so that we know how many chairs are needed and how much food to order.
