Angela "Angie" Joanna Victory

Sep 23, 1922 — Sep 2, 2015

Angela J. Victory "Angie", 92 of Fort Collins, CO, died September 2, 2015 at her daughter's home in Fort Collins. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 AM Saturday, September 12, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. A Reception will follow the Mass at the church. Interment will be held privately at Fort Logan National Cemetery.

Angie spent her last days expressing her gratitude for the abundant blessings she received, praised the greatness of God, and expressed avid curiosity about the adventure awaiting her in the after-life. All of her children and most of her grandchildren were able to be with her in her final days, and she very joyfully chatted with each one. She was able to experience her family at their very best as they very lovingly and with great devotion cared for her, and provided comfort and support to each other. She sweetly and graciously passed nestled in the bosom of her family.

Angela Mocellin was born September 23, 1922, in Ogden, Utah, to Francis and Mary Mocellin. She grew up in the small coal mining town of Superior, Wyoming. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Colorado Women's College and completed graduate studies in social work at Catholic University in Washington D.C. and worked for many years as a social worker for Catholic Charities in Tucson, AZ. After moving to Fort Collins in 1974, she performed office management for the family business, Mountain Medical Solutions, Inc., and helped care for two of her grandchildren, Crista and Michael Reid. She continued to contribute to the business until she retired at age 85.

Angie married John Victory on June 10, 1947. They lived in Washington D.C until John was transferred to Colorado Springs, in 1950. In 1966, they moved to Tucson, AZ, and then back to Ft. Collins in 1974. John retired in 1986 and they spent many years enjoying retirement, traveling, volunteering and keeping company with their many great friends. John passed away February 19, 2006. Angie continued to live well and independently until the last few days.

Angie devoutly practiced her Catholic Faith. She was a charter member of Centering Prayer, and active on the Prayer Networks for both St Joseph and St Elizabeth Ann Seton Parishes. She was the founding member of Women's Investment Network, active in two bridge clubs, and kept in touch with many friends from NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness).

Survivors include her five children, Tom (and Joanne) Victory, Daniel (and Patricia) Victory, Michelle (and Gilbert) Quintanilla, Mark Victory and Theresa (and John) Reid; ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
