Anita M. Jones

Anita Marie Hadick Jones was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 25, 1932, the 6th child of George Otto Hadick and Iva Helma Hadick. Anita experienced a gradual decline in health over the past few years and passed peacefully on August 8th, 2025 just shy of 93 at the Good Samaritan Society in Fort Collins, Colorado where she spent the last two and a half years under the supportive and loving care of the staff. In her final days, Pathways Hospice comforted her through her transition to heaven.

Anita moved from Illinois to California where she attended and graduated from Santa Ana High School. Soon after, she married and had three children Douglas John Weisbrod, Sandra Gay Weisbrod (Brown) and Brenda Jean Weisbrod (Perales). She thoroughly enjoyed raising her children and keeping an impeccable home.

While Anita loved reading, close friendships, West Coast Swing dancing, oil painting, decoupage, and cooking her greatest love were her grandchildren Blake Metsch, Marissa Gossett, Weston Metsch, Jack Perales, and Grant Perales and her great grandchildren Adelaine Gossett, Dahlia Gossett, Briar Metsch, Landon Metsch and Amelie Metsch.

Coming from a large family of seven siblings, Anita was preceded in death by her older siblings George, Warren, Glenn, Audrey, and Barbara along with her younger siblings Delores and Russel.

Per her wishes, Anita's remains will be scattered on her nephew's 40-acre property in Illinois. There will be a family remembrance at that time.
