Ann Cecelia Flot passed away peacefully at home on March 30, 2025, at the age of 90. Ann is survived by her four children, Shawna Eisele (Bill), Kristi Savignano (Jon), Laurie Flot and Mike Flot (Carol); grandchildren Connor Church (Olivia), Elizabeth Schmidt, Olivia Flot and Nicolas Savignano; great grandchildren Emery and Wyatt Church. Ann was preceded in death by her husband Richard "Dick" Flot, her parents Jennie and George Doherty and her brother Thomas Doherty.

Ann was born on March 27, 1935, in Kansas City, Missouri and adopted in 1937 by her loving parents, George and Jennie Doherty. She grew up in Hoehne, Colorado where her parents owned a general store and ran the local postal office. She was active in 4-H which included barrel racing and cattle showing. Ann truly loved animals. While attending high school she was active in track and field. She attended Colorado State University and then the University of Northern Colorado with a major in Education.

While in college at UNC she met Dick, and they married on June 16, 1957. They moved to Fort Collins in the early 1960s and raised four children. Ann was a very involved and supportive mother. She was very active in her children's lives whether it was education, sports or other activities. She was generous, kind and deeply religious. She gave her time and talent to many volunteer activities at St. Joseph Catholic Church, along with her husband Dick. Ann had a strong sense of pride and a wonderful sense of humor. Her love for her family, friends and caregivers will be greatly missed.

The burial took place at Ft. Logan National Cemetery. A rosary will be held on Monday, May 12, 2025, at 1:30 P.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fort Collins with a Memorial Mass to follow at 2:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made at St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, one of Ann's favorite charities.
