Ann Rosa Wagatt, age 66 of Fort Collins, Colorado, died April 9, 2011 at her home. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, April 15 at Blessed John 23rd University Parish, 1220 University Ave., Ft. Collins. Ann Rosa Reiniger was born November 25, 1944 in Rochester, New York to Carl and Stella Reiniger. She grew up in Rochester and graduated from East High School in 1962. She later attended the Rochester Business Institute where she studied Accounting. On September 16, 1967, Ann married Rowland J. Wasgatt, II in Rochester. They moved to Fort Collins in 1971 with his job at Kodak. Ann was an active member of the American Diabetes Association where she served as treasurer for 17 years. She was a devoted mom and was very active with the Poudre School District at Riffenburg Elementary School as well as serving as past treasurer for the School Board. Ann was a Brownie and Girls Scout Leader and a Den Mother for Cub Scouts and Webelos. She also helped out at summer camps with the Cub Scouts. She was hospitality coordinator for the Fort Collins Area Swim Team for many years and worked gathering advertisements to supplement the Team's income from Swim Meets. She assisted wherever she was needed and wherever her children were. She was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church and Blessed John 23rd University Parish. She was a member of the Elks and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and making teddy bears for Santa Cops. In her final years, Ann loved to talk with friends and family on the phone and spend time with the many houseguests that would visit. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rowland and her brother, Charles Reiniger. She is survived by her two sons, Rowland J. Wasgatt, III of Ft. Collins and Mike (and Luzelena) Wasgatt of Fontana, CA; her daughter, Mary (and Tyler) Faulk of Sumter, South Carolina; her siblings, Joanne Vetter of Cayuga Falls, Ohio, Roxanne (and Glenn) Aery of Amsterdam, NY and Eugene Reiniger of Churchville, NY; two grandchildren, Erica and Elena; and her dear friend and caregiver, Esther Haas.
