Anthony Johnson

Anthony James Johnson, beloved husband and father of two passed away suddenly on June 29, 2022, in Aurora, CO. Anthony was born to Eldon and Karen (Sutherland) Johnson on September 9, 1980, in Wheatland, Wyoming. Known as Tony to friends and family, he grew up in Torrington, Wyoming where he was an avid swimmer, practiced karate, and was active in DeMolay throughout high school. Tony moved in the spring of 2000 to Laramie, Wyoming where he met his wife, Jennifer, and attended college at the University of Wyoming earning his bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a minor in Business Ethics.

Anthony got his career start in business management in Las Vegas, Nevada where he lived with his wife for 10 years. They relocated to Fort Collins, CO in 2010 and set up their roots and started their family. Anthony enjoyed living in Fort Collins where he discovered a love for brewing beer, hiking, camping, and spending time along the Poudre River with his family. Anthony also enjoyed his 'work family' at Elevations Credit Union where he worked as a loan officer's assistant for the last 8 years.

Anthony is survived by his wife, Jennifer Johnson, his children Avery and Espen, his brother Curtis Johnson, his sister Elizabeth Johnson, nephew Nathan, nieces Kelli & Lyric, his mother & father-in-law Cyndi and Scott Stevenson, and his brother-in-law's Tim Stevenson and Chris Stevenson, and Niece Skye Stevenson.

He was preceded in death by his mother Karen (Sutherland) Johnson, and his father Eldon Johnson.

A private Celebration of Life gathering will be held August 5, 2022 at the Gateway Natural Area along the Poudre River near Fort Collins.
