Ardeth Nieman, 77, died peacefully at Pathways Hospice on Thursday, November 21st. She was born to Charles and Clara Nieman in St. Paul, Minnesota on November 2, 1936.
She graduated from Kansas University in June, 1958. She received a degree in Journalism and was a gifted writer.
Ardeth's career was working in colleges and universities in several states. She was employed in the Department of Industrial Technology at CSU for over 20 years. She wrote many grants for the University and organized the Clean Air conferences.
During Ardeth's retirement years, she became active in the Arts and Humanities. She loved going to garage and estate sales.
She is survived by a sister, Phyllis (Don) Woods of Cheyenne, Wyoming, six nieces and nephews and many special relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Charles Jr., and a great nephew, Jeremy Woods.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, November 27th at Peace With Christ Lutheran Church at 1:00 with Reverend Patrick officiating. Interment will follow at the columbarium at the church. Goes Funeral Care is assisting with arrangements.
Memorials may be sent to Peace With Christ Lutheran Church or Pathways Hospice of Northern Colorado.
