Arthur LeRoy Stone, 71, of Berthoud Co. passed away October 28, 2012 at home in Berthoud. He was born in North Platte, NE, on November 28th 1940 to William A Stone and Bertha Cline-Stone.
Arthur worked as a mechanic and in construction after moving to Colorado from Nebraska in 1963. In 1983 he started PALS Quarter horses which he trained, raised and bred Cutting horses. He also enjoyed riding horses, water sports, rodeos, camping, snowmobiling, and hunting.
Arthur married Patricia Ann Speck on November 6th 1960 in North Platte, NE. They had a daughter Brenda Louis Stone and a son Timothy Leroy Stone. Timothy passed away in 1978.
Arthur is survived by his wife Patricia of Berthoud, Co, a daughter and son-in-law Brenda and Keith Cochran of Mead, Co. Two grandchildren, Jason and his wife Sabrina Cochran of Little Rock AR, USAF, and Nicole Cochran of Mead, CO. Four Great grandchildren, Nathan, Kayla, Charles and Victorica. He also survived by his brother William E (Judy) Stone, and Sister Donna Rae Alexander and numerous niece and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by his parents William A and Bertha Cline-Stone, his son Timothy Stone, brother Bobbi Gene Stone and his two sister Beverly June Bayne and Shirley Marie Stone.
A Memorial Dinner will be held on November 4, 2012 at 11:00am at Golden Corral 1360 Sculptor Dr Loveland, CO 80537. Memorials may be sent to Goes Funeral Care. 3665 Canal Dr. Suite E. Ft Collins, CO (970) 482-2221. Please no flowers
