Augustine Guzman Ii

Augustine Guzman II ("Augie", "Scoobie"), 33, of Roosevelt, UT formally of Fort Collins, CO passed away on March 15, 2018. Augustine was born to Augustine and Dolores Guzman on March 21, 1984.

He was a loving husband, son, brother, and friend. His positive and gentle way of life carried through to his last breath. He valiantly fought multiple illnesses in his lifetime before finally losing his battle. No matter how difficult the treatment or obstacle that was laid before him, he handled it all in stride and never wanted anyone to worry about him. He took pride and joy in his work at UCHealth. He loved reading, Classical music, gaming, Legos, and all DC superheroes and comics.

Augustine was one of those lucky few who found his true soulmate in his husband, Mike. They were inseparable for 10 years and built a life that is admired by all that knew them. Augustine was an amazing person who will be missed dearly by his loving family and friends.

Besides Mike and his parents, Augustine is survived by his younger brothers Joseph and Richard both of Fort Collins, CO, In-Laws Del and Terri Smith of Berthoud, CO, Sister-In-Law Jenn and her husband Joey Dingman, niece Torie and nephew Blayne of Milliken, CO, numerus aunts, uncles, and cousins, and his dog Cid.

A viewing will be held at Goes Funeral Care, 3665 Canal Drive, Suite E, Fort Collins, CO on Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm. A Celebration of Augustine's Life will be held on Friday March 23, 2018 starting at 5:00 pm at the home of his aunt Mary Ontiveros, 4713 Crest Road, Fort Collins, CO.
