B.A. Sanguily

d. Jul 18, 2023

B.A. Sanguily, 75, of Fort Collins, passed away July 18, 2023 at Pathways Inpatient Care Center. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Saint Joseph Catholic Parish followed by Memorial Mass at 2:00 p.m. Following her Mass, a gathering will take place at Coopersmith's Pub.

BA (Betty Anne) Sanguily was born October 5, 1947 to Rene and Betty Sanguily in Houston, TX. As no one was aware of twins on the way, Rene fainted and they did not have names for two. So, a wrist band was put on the first born, labeled BA for baby A. Her twin brother, Sandy (Rene) passed in October of 2022.

BA is survived by her husband, Terry Endres, two Sanguily nieces, Aly/Chase Engle of Carbondale, CO, Courtney/Jordan Kline of Fort Worth TX, nephew, Patrick/Betsy Sanguily of Austin, TX and a cousin, Hunter Person of California. There are 26 Endres nieces and nephews, with their mates in the Madison, Wisconsin area. In-laws, Tom/Pat Endres, MI, Pat/Stephany Endres, Paul/Diane Endres, Lynette/Daryl Stremer and Leon/Laura Endres, all of Waunakee, WI.

The Sanguilys spent weekends around Galveston Bay, with a great group of friends, sailing. While in High School, BA co-founded the Golf Coast Surfing Association and a few years later, co-founded the Multi-hull Sailing Association of Texas, promoting competitions.

BA was a fun person with many talents and was very knowledgeable in Art History, having attended the University of Houston. She was a Free Lance Artist doing commercial art, technical drawings, designing brochures, logos, ads, posters and promotion pieces for musicians. She managed musicians and Sam's Old Town Ballroom for years in the late 1970's. Her favorite work was volunteering at St. Joseph School, Nightwalker in Fort Collins and at the Abbey of St. Walburga in Virginia Dale.

We are very thankful to Poudre Valley Hospital, Rock Creek Rehab, UC Health Cancer Center and Pathways Hospice.

Her family requests that any memorial contributions please be made to St. Joseph's School in Fort Collins or to the Abbey of St. Walburga, Virginia Dale, CO
