Barbara Lee

Barbara Lee, aged 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, May 20th. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Her warmth, humor, and kindness will be dearly missed. She loved spending time with friends and family, playing cards, baking, walking, and spending time with her five grandchildren.

She worked at Lyons Elementary School for 18 years as a paraprofessional and a Right Start teacher. She loved teaching and working with children.. She had a generous, loving spirit and loved to laugh. She had a deep faith in God and knew she was going to be reunited with him upon her death.

Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, she made Lyons her home for 41 years. She spent the last 10 years in Windsor, Colorado with her husband, David. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, David Lee; two daughters, Barbara Ward and Jennifer Lee; one son, Stephen Lee; and five grandchildren, Joshua, Ryan, Allison, Katie, and Juno.

Services will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church at 7755 Greenstone Trail in Fort Collins, CO 80525 at 2:30 on Friday June 3rd.
