Benjamin Franklin "Pa" Sanders, age 77 of Fort Collins, Colorado died Sunday, January 25, 2009 at Poudre Valley Hospital.
Benjamin was born October 14, 1931 in Fort Collins. After graduating from high school he joined the Air Force and served during the Korean War. Following his discharge from the Air Force, he went into a civil service position with the U. S. Air Force Finance Center.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanne H. Sanders; grandchildren Forrest B. Sanders and Amber M. Frank; two great-grandchildren, Haylee A. Sanders and Piper S. Sanders; one brother, Chuck; two sisters, Arvilla and Twyla and numerous other relatives and friends.
Interment was held privately at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, with full military honors.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial service at noon Saturday, February 7, 2009 at the Vineyard Church of Fort Collins at 1201 Riverside.
