Please visit Bonnie's tribute page at goesfuneralcare.com to read her full obituary and share condolences with her family.

Bernice Ann Connors (Bonnie) was born on April 15, 1942, to Harold Schneeberger and Lorraine (Szarlacki), in Rochester, NY. She was the oldest of 3 siblings, Jean and William, and developed a strong maternal instinct at an early age, when her mother passed away when Bonnie was only 18. She was a very happy child and maintained a positive outlook and strong Catholic faith, as she provided more maternal care for her younger siblings.

She graduated from Irondequoit High School in 1961 and shortly afterwards applied her strong analytical skills working for Eastman Kodak Company as a punch card computer programmer. This is where she met her future husband, Larry, who was a fellow Kodak employee, and shared common interests of tennis, skiing, golf and travelling. Their relationship blossomed and after a few years they were married, and relocated to Fort Collins, Colorado, to accommodate an office transfer for Larry to begin working for the newly established Windsor, Colorado Kodak office.

Bonnie and Larry settled on Camrose Street, in Fort Collins, where they laid roots and have happily resided ever since. Enjoying close proximity to Bonnie's sister's family and Larry's parents and sister's families, they brought up their children Patrick and John with a strong appreciation and prioritization of regularly making time to visit with family.

As John and Patrick became more independent with school, Bonnie rejoined the work-force as a para-professional and librarian for elementary schools in Poudre School District. She would joyously share her experiences there, honored to have the opportunities to help challenged students develop a love for school.

Bonnie always maintained a positive outlook, even as she fought and eliminated her cancer, never giving up hope, working to regain strength and capabilities. She was filled with a strong Catholic fire and a commitment to live her faith, and she will be sorely missed.

Bonnie is survived by her husband Larry, her sons John(41) and Patrick(44), daughters-in-law Kate(47 ) and Veraya(42), and grandkids Ramdalyn(13), Frances(13), Moira(11), Graydon(10), Vernon(6) and Byron(1).
