Bessie Marie Rogers passed away on January 21, 2010. She was born on July 22, 1913 to Cynthia Ann Pollock and James Benton Norrid. Bessie was a nurse and had owned The Sunnyside Nursing Home with her husband, Frank. She was a Christian with strong faith and a long time member of the Royal Neighbors of America. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank N. Rogers, an infant son and one grandson. Bessie is survived by daughter Peggie Ann Horton, sons Asa Lee Bowman, Danny D. Rogers and Reggie L. Rogers, eight grandchildren, many great and great, great and great, great, great grandchildren. A private service is planned.
