Betty Feldman, age 66, passed away unexpectedly January 16 at her home in Wellington, CO. She will be missed greatly by her loving husband, Peter; her four daughters, Shauna (Jake) Verlanic of Butte, MT; Sharla (Tyson) McGuffin of Ft. Collins, CO; Laura (Nolan) Lenz of Wray, CO, and Sarah Feldman of Austin, TX; as well as her adoring 13 grandchildren and her 4 siblings and their families.
Betty grew up in Anaconda, MT. She attended Carroll College and the University of Montana, and she eventually became a registered nurse. She also lived in Casa Grande, AZ for 5 years; Billings, MT for 6 years; Lovell, WY for 22 years, where she raised her family; and for the last 9 years, she and Peter called Colorado home. She made friends easily, and was an evident devout Catholic. She loved her years as a home health nurse, taking extra care with her patients in their homes. But her heart was truly with her family. She was a loving wife and mother and an especially doting grandmother.
Visitation after 2:00 pm, Friday January 19 at St. John XXIII; Rosary will follow at 3:00 pm Friday; Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am Saturday, January 20, also at St. John XXIII Catholic Church in Fort Collins.
