In the early morning of June 3, 2024 Betty (Betsy) Jane Sing unexpectedly passed away while visiting family. Betsy was 73 years old.
She was born to Jerome and Mercedes (Miller) Ruskamp in West Point, Nebraska in 1951. She graduated from St. Mary's High School in Bird Island, Minnesota. Betsy was a sewist for Rambow, Inc. of New London, MN for many years. Her work can be seen all across Minnesota and beyond.
Betsy was also an avid quilter. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, attending her daughter's sporting events, reading, and puzzles. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family.
Betsy was preceded in death by her father Jerome, her Mother Mercedes, her brother Timothy, and her sister Judith. She is survived by her daughters Cindy Burch and Katie (and Eric) Carpenter; siblings Jeanie (Kenny) Wittman of Willmar, Les (Betty) Ruskamp of Hutchinson, Patricia (Rusty) Johnson of California, Kate (Kent) Saeger of Litchfield, Mike (Annette) Ruskamp of Hector, and Carolyn (Gary) Eliason of Appleton; her grandchildren Jonathan, Elizabeth, Emmalyne, Jessica, and Kyle, and several cousins, nephews and nieces.
Arrangements provided by Goes Funeral Care of Fort Collins, Colorado.
A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
