Beverly A. Suits

Beverly A. Suits, 75, of Windsor, passed away March 15, 2022, in Fort Collins, CO. Beverly was born to
James and Peggy (Manning) Wishart in Dallas, TX. She was raised there and in Chappaqua, NY. Beverly
attended The University of Texas where she received her Bachelor of Psychology. She was an avid fan of
the Longhorn football team and enjoyed the nickname "Bevo" – named after the Longhorns mascot. She raised her two kids, Tracy and Christina, in Houston, TX, and Aspen, CO. Beverly married the love of her life, Jerry P. Suits on July 21, 2012. Her final trip was the Viking cruise down the Rhine River, an amazing experience. Beverly loved horses and owned her own stable of Arabian horses. She was an avid outdoorsman and alpine skier (FIS). She loved her Saluki dogs, Calliope and Blaise.
Beverly is survived by her husband, Jerry P. Suits, of Windsor, CO, her son, Tracy (Cristina) Scarborough,
of Arvada, CO, daughter Christina Sousa of Anchorage, AK, step-son H.L. (Jamie) Scarborough and their
kids Addie and Harrison, brother Jim Wishart, of Houston, TX, and numerous cousins.
A memorial service will be held Friday, March 18, 2022, at 11:00 AM, at St. Alban's Episcopal Church,
311 6th St., Windsor, CO, 80550. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Nature
Conservancy at preserve.nature.org.
