He lived most of his life in Northern Colorado, graduating from CSU with a bachelor's degree in Speech Communications.

Brad is preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Kay Chapman and is survived by his two sons, Jacob and Nathan; his brother, Keith; and his close friend, Bill.

His career began at King Soopers where he learned many skills that eventually led to the ownership of Comfort Zone Heating and Air Conditioning. He took great pride in providing excellent service and products. Brad enjoyed watching the World Champion Broncos; playing fantasy football; poker nights; playing black jack; buying and selling cars as well as all types of water sports. He was involved his boys as a coach and mentor when they were young.  His last wish, from his hospice bed, was that his two sons would be well cared for.
