Brenda Rae Aberle, of Fort Collins, Colorado, departed this life to enter her eternal home in Heaven on Saturday, September 13, 2008. She passed with courage and spirit surrounded by her family at the McKee Hospice Care Center in Loveland after a nearly three year long battle with cancer. Brenda was born June 6, 1958 in Rapid City, South Dakota, to Anton and Rosemarie Aberle. Her family moved to Ft. Collins in 1968, where she attended local schools and spent as much time in the outdoors as possible. Brenda enjoyed fishing, camping, the mountains, and motorcycle riding. Gardening was a genuine passion and many flowers and plants flourished with her nurturing. Brenda graduated from Front Range Community College in 1999 with an Associates Degree in Business Management Technology. She put great pride into achieving her degree and into her work at her last position with the Light Center in Fort Collins. Brenda was especially proud of her spirituality. She volunteered at the Resource Center at Vineyard of the Rockies and was an active member of the church. She recently participated in a Vineyard caring ministry trip to Puerto Rico. Those left to celebrate her memory are her adoring son, Daniel; her loving parents, Tony and Rose of Ft. Collins; three sisters, Debbie Aberle Drohman of Jacksonville, Florida, Carol Carroll (and Keven) of Nunn, and Roberta "Birdie" Oine (and David) of Aurora; two grandchildren; two nieces and two nephews; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A celebration of Brenda's life will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday at the Vineyard Church of Fort Collins, 1201 Riverside Ave with a luncheon gathering at Christ United Methodist church at 301 E. Drake Road. Brenda has chosen to be cremated; private urn internment services will be held at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Larimer County, the Vineyard Resource Center or to RamStrong in care of Goes Funeral Care, 3665 Canal Dr., Ft. Collins, CO 80524. Please go to
