Bridget Christine Fishell, age 75, of Fort Collins, died on August 26, 2013. Per her wishes, she has been cremated. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 30th at 2:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 300 West Mountain Ave., Fort Collins. Bridget will be buried next to her husband, Alan, at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio at a later date.

Bridget was born on December 25, 1937 in Cashel, Tipperary, Ireland to Patrick and Kathleen (O'Connor) Cahill. Bridget spent the early years of her life in Ireland as well as England. She married Alan Fishell, who was serving in the United States Air Force, in 1957. They made their home in Cleveland, Ohio from 1960 until 2004 when she moved to Florida following Al's death. In 2007, she moved to Fort Collins.

Bridget loved to cook and was famous among her friends for her chocolate cakes. She was a former resident of Woodbridge on West Elizabeth Street in Fort Collins.

Bridget is survived by her daughters, Carol (and Joe) Bennis of Fort Collins and Chivanne (and Chris) Binder of Scottsdale, AZ; her son Alan (and Bonnie) Fishell, Jr of Cleveland, OH; grandchildren, Kate, David, Evan and Jane; a brother (Patrick Cahill) and two sisters (Mary McGeer and Patricia Gillespie) in Ireland, and two sisters (Kathleen O'Brien and Margaret Lynch) in England. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alan and infant son, Robert
