Bruce G. Perkins

Bruce G. Perkins, age 90, passed away peacefully in his home in Fort Collins, CO on June 10, 2017. Bruce was the only child of Hugh C. Perkins and Violet Bruce Perkins and was born in Joliet, IL. As a young man he proudly served his country in the Army in World War II. He graduated from the University of Vermont and then began a long and successful career in the ice cream manufacturing business. In 1959, he married Jeannine Rabidoux and they had 57 wonderful years together. He is survived by Jeannine, their three children, Lisa Perkins Callahan, Cindy Perkins Weaver, and Lynda Perkins Summa, son-in-laws Ron Callahan, Rick Weaver, and Michael Summa, as well as seven grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, Fort Collins on Saturday, June 24th at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pathways Hospice c/o Goes Funeral Care.
