Carlean Jae Schneidmiller "Clem" passed away on Thursday October 19, 2023, at the age of 79 at North Shore Heath and Rehab in Loveland, CO.

Carlean was born in San Diego, CA to parents, Carl J. Wood and Olive Mae Whiney Wood on February 12, 1944. As life led its course, Carlean found herself living all over the country, including; California, Oklahoma, North Carolina, and then ending up in Fort Collins, Colorado, where she married Ken Schneidmiller. She graduated from Colorado State College (now known as University of Colorado) with her master's degree in education and library science. Carlean used her degrees to work as an elementary school teacher, librarian, and art teacher. She put love into her work and brought excitement to learning for all her students. Carlean lived her life carefree and full of joy. In her free time, she loved reading, puzzles, doing arts and crafts, jewelry making, and local travel.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ken Schneidmiller and her pets Gypsy Lee and Zachary Taylor. She is survived by a loving family including her two children and their spouses, Curt and Teresa Nelson, and Cresta and Jim Wold; her sister, Brenda Wood. Her loving grandchildren, Haley Nelson, Jayme Wold, Haven Nelson, and Mason Wold; and great-grandchildren, Evelyn, Iris, Cypris, Leela, Van and Hayes; Her nieces; Bethany and Shyann.

Carlean's family would like to thank Pathways Hospice for being incredibly kind and compassionate, for providing not only care, but friendship and enjoying Carlean's quirky, fun sense of humor! You were ALL appreciated.
