Carol E. Dee

Carol Dee passed away on Dec 30, 2021 at the age of 84 in Loveland, CO. Carol was born in Moscow, ID to Robert and Elizabeth English on August 24, 1937. The family moved to Ten Sleep, WY early in her life. Carol and "Bub" Daugherty were married and raised 2 children on a ranch outside of Ten Sleep. Carol later obtained her GED and went on to graduate from the University of Wyoming. Carol taught middle school English and Social Studies for 15 years in Kemmerer, WY where she was known as Mrs "D". After teaching, Carol owned and operated dress shops and dry-cleaning businesses in Kemmerer and Evanston, WY. Carol later started her dream retirement business, "Dee's Bookstore and Boutique" in Evanston, WY. Here she passed on her passion for books and reading. Carol spent the last 5 years close to family in Loveland, CO where she pursued her other passion, Bridge. Carol is survived by her children, Les Daugherty and Dan (Monica) Daugherty and grandchildren Lindsey and Kevin Daugherty.
