Carol L. Snider
Carol L. Snider, 80, of Ft. Collins passed away peacefully at her home on April 1, 2017.
Carol was born in Superior, Arizona on July 6, 1936, to Ira and Della McLoy. She married Charles Snider on November 5, 1954, in Phoenix. During her 25-year career with the federal government, she worked for several directors of the local offices of the Department of Reclamation and Commerce, culminating her career at the Animal Plant Inspection Service (APIS).
Carol loved sports. She played on a neighborhood volleyball team that beat several city league teams. While living in Boulder, she played on the National Bureau of Standards women's softball team.
Carol was preceded in death by her two sons, Noel and Shawn, and grandson, Tyler Souders.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years Charles, daughter Tracie, sister Kitsie Willis (Ken), brother Cal McLoy (Diane) and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 22 at 3:00 pm at the Timnath Presbyterian Church, 4220 Main St. Carol's family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Seniors helping Seniors and Pathways Hospice.
She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend and will be truly missed.
