Carole Jane (Sabo) Lyttle, age 76 of Windsor, Colorado, went peacefully to her home in Heaven on Saturday Dec. 21st at the Pathways Hospice at McKee Medical Center, with her Husband John by her side. Carole was born on November 26, 1943 to Mathew and Jean Sabo in Brooklyn, N.Y.
She attended Bay Ridge H.S. in Brooklyn and graduated from St. John's University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business. She met her Husband John in 1963 at a college social function, and they were married in 1967 in Staten Island, N.Y. Carole started her career as a Systems Analyst, and as she and John moved around the country (from New Jersey to Connecticut, to Washington State, to Albuquerque N.M., to Grand Junction, Colorado Springs and finally the Fort Collins/Windsor area) Carole worked as an Office Manager, Business Administrator, Real Estate Assistant, and also volunteered as a Church Treasurer, Cub Scout and Boy Scout Leader. Carole and John are avid RV'ers and have been members of several camping groups in Colorado.
Carole is survived by her Husband John, her sons Brian, Douglas and Stephen; her granddaughters Alexis, Jenna, and Isabella; and her sister Constance (Connie) and brother Michael. She was preceded in death by her parents Matty and Jean Sabo.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Goes Funeral Care, and a Family Funeral Service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Fort Collins on Friday, December 27th at 11:00AM. A Celebration of Carole's Life will be held in January.
