Carolyn Lacey-Bickley died unexpectedly on February 25, 2017. We deeply mourn the loss of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Carolyn had recently moved to Fort Collins and become a home owner after retiring as a paraprofessional at Euclid Middle School in Littleton, CO. Born and raised in Adelphi, MD, she attended St. Camillus Parochial School in Silver Spring, Maryland and was a graduate of High Point High School in Beltsville, Maryland. Carolyn was a kind, honest, selfless, generous, and compassionate person. She was the daughter of the late Mary Ann (Boteler) Lacey and William Emmanuel Lacey. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Lacey. She is survived by her children, Christina Marie Bickley-Goodridge, Mathew Alan Bickley, Patricia Catherine Bickley (Joshua Wenz), Michael Brendan Bickley (Amy Runkle), Danielle Nicole Bickley, and Timothy Joseph Bickley (Bianca Bickley); her grandchildren, Aviana (1), Cortland (5), Finnegan (6), Jacob (20), Jaydon (5), Joshua (17), Kyah (15), Madison (11), and Violet (2); her siblings, William Lacey, Kathryn Mathews, Steven Lacey, and Mimi Theisen; numerous nieces and nephews, and by her four beloved cocker-spaniels, which brought her so much joy and comfort: Frisco, Tanner, Molly and Itsy-bits.
