Carrie Shy

Carrie Charlotte Shy, 54, of Wellington, CO, passed away June 5, 2023. She was born on March 3, 1969, to Donn and Judy Shy in Glendale, CA. Eventually relocating to Tehachapi, CA, and Mesa, AZ, Carrie graduated from Mountain View High School in Mesa, AZ. She then went on to graduate from Mesa Community College earning her Applied Associate of Science degree. She utilized her degree in phlebotomy and worked for UCHealth. In Carrie's free time, she enjoyed hiking, shopping, and kayaking.

Carrie is survived by her mother, Judy Shy and father, Donn (Carol) Shy; children, Benjamin Shy (Jerika Garcia), Seth Darnall, and Ashlei Darnall; siblings Mark Shy and Helen Shy; and grandchild, Westin Darnall. She was preceded in death by her brother, Stephan Shy.

A memorial service will begin at 10:00 am, on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Goes Funeral Care, 3665 Canal Drive, Suite E, Fort Collins, CO 80524.
