Celene Whittington

Celene R. Whittington was born April 6, 1933 in Nathrop, CO and sadly left us on May 18, 2024 in Fort Collins, CO.

Celene lived a colorful life traveling with her Air Force family! She loved music and dancing with her husband and family.

Celene is survived by her sons Bruce Whittington wife Kathy Longwell Whittington, Mike Whittington wife Susan Whittington, Alan Whittington wife Terry Jaso, daughters Deb Hall, Lisa Whittington and daughter in law Macie Whittington. As well as 17 grandchildren and over 30 great grandchildren.

Celene is proceeded by her loving husband Richard Whittington, son Craig Whittington, grandchildren Gregory and Jason Whittington, her parents Espidion and Herminia Fresquez, 3 sisters and 1 brother.

For those who would like to attend, a viewing will take place on Wednesday May 22, 2024 from 5:00-8:00pm at Goes Funeral Care. A service will be held in her honor Thursday May 23, 2024 at Annuciation Roman Catholic Chapel, Highway 1 & County Road 56, Fort Collins, CO 80524. The rosary will be held at 9:30am followed by mass at 10am.

Celene will be laid to rest at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, CO with her beloved husband at 2pm, following services at the church on Thursday.
