Charlotte "Anne" Franklin was born June 8, 1952 to Roy and Helen Kennedy in Denver Colorado. Anne grew up in Denver and frequented Red Rocks and Elitch's. She loved music and roller coasters. In 1972 Anne began attending college in Greeley where she met the love of her life Jerry Franklin, together they cultivated a life filled with laughter, music, adventure and love for nature. Anne married Jerry, October 12, 1974, together they had three children John, Susannah and Charlotte and blended their family with Jerry's two children Jamie and Amy and one stepson Aaron from a previous marriage. All were welcome in her home she loved all children, animals and especially she loved Jesus. In the late 70s Anne and Jerry felt Denver was just getting too big, so they packed up and moved high into the Colorado Mountains to Red Feather Lakes. There Anne and Jerry build their dream home and worked a cattle ranch raising their family. They became well-established residence in Red Feather, and now multiple generations of Franklin's continue their legacy and love of mountain living. Anne's love and faith in Jesus was a cornerstone of her values and family. During the 1990s and into the 2000s Anne became a skilled equipment operator and worked with her children building many of the campgrounds in the Poudre Canyon, Red Feather Lakes, iconic Fish Creek Falls, and The Maroon Bells. She loved working outside, loved being active; she loved her cows, her grandchildren and plants.
