Cherokee L. Cordova

d. Feb 1, 2025

Cherokee "Chunk" Lee Cordova, beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend, passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 26. Born on March 10, 1998, in Fort Collins, CO to Steven "Mano" Cordova and Tina Cordova. He was the baby brother of Steven "Manuel" (Robyn) Cordova, Cheyenne Cordova and Alexia(Cody) Cruz.

Cherokee was a loving boyfriend to his girlfriend of 9 years Rita Maxwell. His nephew Wesley and nieces, Raine and Alayla were also a wonderful addition to his life. Family was always important to Cherokee and losing his father at the age of 14 was extremely difficult for him. Our hearts are full knowing he has been reunited with his dad.

Cherokee is survived by his grandfather, Steven Cordova, Aunts, Angela (Scott) Pohlenz, Ariel(Lance) Pickett, Bailey (Jeremy) Selvage and Annette Fuentes; Uncles, Nano(Yvonne) Cruz, Donovan(Heather) Cordova, Isaac Cordova and Zachary Cordova and many cousins who loved him very much.

Cherokee was an avid lover of all Colorado sports teams. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family and had hopes for more time with all of us. Although his time was cut short, we are all thankful for the wonderful memories we are left with and his memory will forever be cherished by all who knew him.
