Chris Brooks

Chris Brooks, age 25 of Fort Collins , Colorado , died July 19, 2012 as a result of a motor vehicle accident in the Poudre Canyon . A celebration of Chris' life will be held beginning at 11:00 am Friday at the Northside Aztlan Community Center, 112 Willow St., Fort Collins. Christopher Thomas Brooks was born October 18, 1986 in West Covina, California to Albert Thomas Brooks and Eileen English Marple. He lived most of his life in California and came to Fort Collins in 2006. His son, Christopher,"Jr", became the most important part of his life just less than three years ago. He had worked as a milk delivery driver for Morning Fresh Dairy for the past year;, and in his free time, Chris enjoyed the mountains, fishing, listening to music, playing his guitar and drawing artistically. In addition to his son, Chris is survived by his mother, Eileen (and John) Marple of Wellington, CO; his father Tom Brooks (and fiancé, Debbie Anderson) of Cedar City , Utah ; three brothers, Justin Marple of Ft. Collins, Jeremy Marple of San Antonio, Texas and Nicholas DeLaRosa of Ft. Collins; grandparents, Jackie (and Devonn) Childress of Montclair, CA, Carol (and Lou) Marschio of LaVerne , CA and Joseph (and Phyllis) Marple of Apple Valley, CA; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends.
