Christina Samantha Emilia Jordan, or Sammy, as she was known to her family (and Xtinaaa as she was known to her friends), died unexpectedly Wednesday, March 30, 2011, in Fort Collins. She was a vibrant 17-year-old who left us far too soon. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held 6 p.m. Thursday at Vineyard Church of the Rockies, 1201 Riverside Ave., in Fort Collins. Sammy came into this world on Nov. 2, 1993, in Orange, Calif., the youngest of four children born to Rick Jordan and Sylvia Jordan Martinez. She was a devoted student who excelled in her studies and was well-liked by her peers, staff and faculty at Rocky.
