Concepcion Saenz

d. Apr 13, 2020

Concepcion Marta Losoya Saenz went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 13, 2020. She was born on October 2, 1947 to Diego Losoya and Ernestina Contreras. She lived most of her life in Uvalde, Texas before moving to Colorado. She retired from Monfort, Inc. in Greeley, CO.

Affectionately called "Concha" or "Connie" by friends and family, she had an infectious smile, a kind heart, and a loving spirit. She was always ready to help others. Concha loved the Lord and she never lost sight of her faith, even in the midst of life's challenges and hardships and especially during her recent failing health. She was a great mom, always wanting the best for her sons and her grandchildren.

Concha was a big part of the Salas family and she considered Maria Salas her second mom. She was known for making the best pecan pie in the world. Our family Thanksgiving dinners and holidays will not be the same without Concha and her famous pecan pie. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren, sewing and watching the Hallmark Channel.

Concha is survived by her sons, Michael Losoya and Esteban Saenz, 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and the Salas family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Diego Losoya and Jaime Losoya and second mom, Maria Salas.

Cremation has taken place. Due to Covid-19, a memorial service will be held on a future date when family and friends can gather together safely.
