Mr. Fuqua, 62, died Nov. 15, 2020 at the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colo. Goes Funeral Home of Fort Collins, Colo., was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Fuqua was born in Detroit, Mich., on Nov. 23, 1957. He was raised in Livonia, Mi. and enlisted in the US Army after high school. He was stationed in Fort Sills, Okla. Dale lived in Detroit, Mich. for many years; Seattle, Wash. (20 years); New Johnsonville, Tenn. (3 years); and Loveland, Colo. (9 years).
He was what some might consider a loner; he was proud to live alone and take care of himself. Although he wandered across the United States, he was a kind soul and a good human being having been through a lot, he still loved and he still cared.
Mr. Fuqua was the son of the late Claude Everett and Hester Mae Conner Fuqua.
Survivors include one sister, Rita (Wayne) Poyner of New Johnsonville, Tenn.; five nieces and nephews, John (Pam) Mitchell; Dawn (Dan) Nowicki; Jennifer Dyer; James Jones; and Timothy Poyner; and numerous cousins.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Priscilla Fuqua Mitchell.
