Dana Lee Hoff

Dana Lee Hoff, 55, of Greeley, Colorado, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2026, at Medical Center of the Rockies (MCR).

Dana brought immeasurable light and warmth to everyone who knew her. Known for her bright personality, she was always in a good mood and made it her mission to share unconditional love with the world. She had a wonderful sense of humor, always ready to joke around and bring a smile to someone’s face.

Dana truly loved the hands-on joy of doing crafts, a passion that perfectly reflected her colorful and creative spirit. She was also a proud attendee of the Persons in Progress program, where she formed many fond memories and deep, lasting friendships.

She is survived by her loving sisters and their families: Jody Anderson and her husband DJ, along with their children Ella and Sydney; Hilary Hoff and her husband Bob Alexander, along with their children Payton and Maddux; and Alexa Hoff, along with her daughter Jade. Dana was a deeply loved sister and aunt who cherished her family immensely.

She is also survived by her devoted caregiver, Nicole, and her family, who loved and cared for Dana deeply, providing her with endless love, comfort, and support throughout their time together.

Dana was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Richard and Sharon Hoff. Her family takes comfort in knowing they are beautifully reunited.

Celebration of Life

An informal gathering to celebrate Dana's life will be held on Saturday, October 17th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Strauss Cabin Farmhouse (5236 Strauss Cabin Road, Fort Collins, CO 80528). Please note that there will be no formal service; instead, family and friends are invited to drop in, share fond memories, and celebrate the joy she brought to our lives. Because Dana absolutely adored Halloween and possessed such a sweetly silly spirit, guests are welcome to wear costumes.

Dana had an immense love for animals. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her honor to the Weld County Humane Society or your local animal rescue shelter.
