Daniel Wesley Dow passed away March 30, 2024 at Pathways Hospice Care Center, Fort Collins, Colorado, of cancer.
Dan was born August 31, 1960 in Basin, Wyoming to Norma Talbott Dow and David George Dow.
He attended school in Basin until his step father, Gerald Holm, was transferred to Miles City, Montana.
Dan graduated from a refrigeration program which led to a career in construction and real estate management. He enjoyed doing home improvement projects, as well.
In 1994 Dan met the love of his life, Tamara Thompson.
Guitar playing and restoration, riding motorcycles, golfing and playing darts were some of Dan's favorite pastimes. He always had a dog or two to love. Even though he always lived far inland, he had a keen interest in lighthouses and their operation.
Dan is survived by his wife Tammy Thompson, Fort Collins; sisters Claudia Dow Wade (Tim) and Patra Dow Lindenthal (Rick), both of Cody, Wyoming; Aunt Irene Talbott, New York City; and several nieces, nephews and in-laws.
No formal service is planned.
