Daniel Vincent Murphy (Danny, Murph), 34, of Fort Collins, passed away January 23, 2021 after a long battle with addiction.
Daniel was born in Fort Collins on September 24, 1986 to parents Brendan and Kathy Murphy. He was raised in Fort Collins and graduated from Poudre High School.
Danny was very loyal to his friends and loved to play Frisbee golf and Pokémon go. He liked hiking, riding his bike, exploring, and many kinds of music. The day Danny died, a part of us died along with him. We will miss him every day for the rest of our lives.

He is survived by his mother, Kathy Murphy, of Fort Collins, CO; sister, Elizabeth Lawson and her family, husband William and children Trevor and Kyrah, of Joplin, MO; uncle and aunt, Dave and Carol and cousin Kathleen Judy, of Beaverton, OR; uncle and aunt, Mike and Monica and cousins Brian and Brandon Rucker, of Everett, WA.
He was preceded in death by his father, Brendan Murphy; grandparents Ralph Timothy and Mary Alice Judy; grandparents, Ellen Wilding-Murphy and Osmund Vincent Murphy.
A service will take place at 10:00 am, Friday, February 26 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Fort Collins.
