Daniel Scott "Danny, Bug, Bugphace" Snow, was born in Washington DC on November 4, 1963, to Nancy L. and Kenneth S. Snow. Daniel passed away in Fort Collins, CO June 1, 2022, with his younger sister Tiffany, and a small group of his closest friends at his bedside.
In the fall of 1986, Daniel left his home in Manassas, Virginia to join his friend Stephen Egerton in Los Angeles. Stephen had just joined The Descendents, and Daniel took it upon himself to drive across the country and become their road crew. With his wealth of mechanical ingenuity, relentless work ethic, appetite for adventure, and willingness to work for $5 a day, he quickly became an indispensable member of their operation. Over the course of the next 30 years Daniel toured the world several times over. He became an accomplished guitar and drum technician, and a talented musician in his own right. He recorded 2 albums with his band Bill the Welder, sang vocals, played guitar and drums, and made jokes on countless other records. There was no place Daniel would have rather been than on tour with The Descendents/ALL. But, in his free time, he loved to fish, watch baseball, barbequed, and spend time with his beloved dog, Molly. He made friends everywhere he went and is both an enigma and legend to everyone that knew him. Truly one of a kind, he lived life by his own rules.
Daniel was preceded in death by both his parents (Nancy Lee and Kenneth Scott), his favorite maternal Aunt (Ginny), his maternal grandmother (Gladys) maternal grandfather, 3 more maternal Aunts and 3 maternal Uncles, both his paternal grandparents and 1 paternal Aunt. He is survived by his sisters Vickie L. Adkins (Claude), Pamela J. Snow and Tiffany J. Snow, 2 nieces, Shelley L. Tibbs (Reggie), Shelley's 4 sons Michael, Jason, Jordan & Jonathan, Angela L. Parker (Andy) and Angela's 2 sons Logan and Link, 1 paternal Aunt & 1 paternal Uncle as well as many cousins. He is also survived by his closest friends, Bill Stevenson (Stacie), Alan Weaver (Leigh), Stephen Egerton (Natalie), and countless others. A Celebration of Life took place in Fort Collins, CO on July 9, 2022 and another Celebration of Life will take place on August 27, 2022 at the Manassas Moose Lodge from 6 – 9pm in his hometown of Manassas, VA.
